Arrest campaign targets fishermen in Hadramout

Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

On Tuesday, pro-Emirati forces launched an arrest campaign against a group of fishermen in the Shihr area, east of the city of Al-Mukalla, the administrative center of Hadramout Governorate, eastern Yemen.

Informed sources said that elements from the Transitional Council forces loyal to the Emirates arrested a group of fishermen after they tried to fish on the governorate’s coasts.

This comes amid the banning by the Saudi-Emirati coalition forces and their loyal factions of fishing in Yemeni coastal areas, amid accusations of their control over the fish wealth.
