Red Sea traffic disruption due to Gaza agreement instability

Exclusively – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The American agency “Bloomberg” revealed that the recent weeks have witnessed a slowdown in ship movement across the Red Sea, despite the long period since the cessation of Sana’a’s operations.

This is due to the instability of the Gaza agreement and Israel’s attempts to return to escalation again.

The agency, quoting senior executives of the world’s largest shipping companies, said that “any return to the Red Sea is likely to be slow amid fluctuations in tensions in the Middle East,” and it mentioned that “shippers are still relying on the longer route located at the southern tip of Africa.”

According to a weekly update from the Joint Maritime Information Center, “Although the lethargy can be considered an improvement in maritime security, the threat to commercial ships has not changed, and the transit numbers are relatively stable.”
