Israel Seizes 1,200 Square Meters of Land in Qalqilya

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli authorities seized an area of ​​1,200 square meters in the West Bank city of Qalqilya on Thursday, under the pretext of a “military order.”

The Palestinian News and Information Agency, WAFA, quoted the sources as saying, “The occupation authorities issued a decision to seize land in the eastern area belonging to a Palestinian family for military purposes.”

Israel has built more than 100 settlements throughout the West Bank, ranging from hilltop outposts to integrated communities resembling small towns and suburbs, with residential buildings, shopping centers, and parks.
