The ministry explained that the martyrs were distributed across the various governorates of the Strip, with 178 martyrs and 309 wounded in Gaza Governorate, 62 martyrs and 222 wounded in North Gaza, 57 people were killed in the Central Governorate, and 87 others were wounded. In Khan Yunis Governorate, the number of martyrs reached 85 and 124 wounded, while Rafah Governorate recorded 124 martyrs and 167 wounded.
The statistics showed that the age group 0-18 years constituted 39.6% of the total number of martyrs, while the percentage of martyrs between the ages of 18-59 reached approximately 30.6%, while 22.1% were martyred within the age group over 60. Among the martyrs recorded over the past 48 hours were 200 children, 112 women, and 39 elderly people.
