The Director-General of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that the autopsy report on the bodies of the paramedics killed in Rafah confirms that the occupation forces deliberately killed them and buried them in a deep hole. He noted that the report proved the Israeli narrative regarding the incident to be false.
He added in press statements on Wednesday that the continued closure of the crossings exacerbates the health conditions of patients and the wounded, stressing that the ministry is “overwhelmed with victims and wounded and unable to take action to prosecute the occupation for its crimes.”
He explained that 1,400 health workers have been martyred in Gaza hospitals since the beginning of the aggression, and that the number of martyrs is increasing due to the return of the specter of famine, at a time when more than 13,000 patients are waiting to travel outside Gaza for treatment.
