The Palestinian Ministry of Health’s statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip revealed that 226 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire began on October 11.
The ministry’s report, issued on Saturday, stated that 22 martyrs arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals, including 5 martyrs and 9 wounded as a result of Israeli forces violating the ceasefire. Seventeen bodies were recovered in the past 48 hours. The report also indicated that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense teams.
The total number of martyrs in the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 68,858, with 170,664 wounded since October 7, 2023. An additional 594 injuries have been recorded since the latest ceasefire.
The Civil Defense was able to recover 499 bodies, and the number of bodies received by the sector authorities from the Zionist occupation rose to 225 bodies, after 30 bodies of martyrs who were released yesterday were handed over by the Red Cross organization.
