The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday evening that the death toll from renewed Israeli airstrikes on various parts of the Strip had reached 20, with more than 83 injuries reported in hospitals so far, including some critical cases.
In a brief statement, the Ministry explained that “medical teams are continuing to treat the injuries that have been arriving at emergency departments, amid a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies, and a deteriorating humanitarian situation resulting from the ongoing aggression.”
It indicated that “the number is likely to rise as search and rescue operations continue at the bombing sites and Israeli attacks on the Strip persist.”
Israeli warplanes launched a new wave of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening, resulting in the deaths of 20 Palestinians and injuries to dozens more, in the latest violation of the ceasefire agreement.
