The General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced that its teams are prepared, despite limited resources, to deal with an expected storm system accompanied by heavy rain and strong winds.
In a statement issued Sunday, it warned of significant dangers threatening thousands of displaced families living in tents and shelters lacking basic protection.
It is worth noting that this storm is the second to hit the Gaza Strip in 10 days. The first caused tens of thousands of dilapidated tents to flood, exacerbating the humanitarian suffering caused by the two-year Israeli offensive.
