The war on Iran shocks the economies of Asian countries

Reports have warned of the repercussions of the American-Israeli war against Iran on the economies of Asian countries, which have begun to suffer from the shock of the war.

The Bloomberg agency said that if hostilities are not ended quickly and the Strait of Hormuz reopened, Taiwan will struggle to meet its needs for liquefied natural gas.

In addition to other chemical materials—such as helium, one-third of which is processed in Qatar—on which chip production depends, the island relies on imports to meet 97% of its energy needs.

Meanwhile, Carnegie Endowment analysts confirmed that the war is sending shockwaves throughout Asian economies, particularly endangering those that depend on fuel imports to power their booming semiconductor industries, such as South Korea.
