Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Channel 12 Hebrew reported that Israeli security assessments show Hezbollah has a special drone operation system in southern Lebanon, made up of around a hundred members divided into small, mobile groups that only conduct drone missions against the Israeli occupation army forces.
According to the same assessments, this system has so far executed approximately 160 drone launches towards occupation forces, including about 90 drones that were connected to their operators via fiber-optic cables.
On the ground, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced the execution of a series of operations targeting Israeli forces, vehicles, and military sites in occupied southern Lebanon. The Resistance confirmed in multiple statements that it targeted an Israeli military vehicle in the Khallat Al-Raj area of the town of Deir Siryan using a suicide drone, achieving a direct hit.
It also targeted an Israeli force on the road between the towns of Adshit Al-Qusayr and Deir Siryan with an attack drone, in addition to targeting another force on the Al-Bayada-Bayut Al-Siyad road with bombs dropped by a drone, resulting in direct injuries among Israeli soldiers.
The operations also included targeting a gathering of occupation army vehicles and soldiers in the town of Rashaf with a rocket barrage, as well as shelling a newly established occupation command site in the town of Al-Bayada using an attack drone.
The Lebanese Resistance affirmed that these operations come within the framework of responding to the ongoing Israeli aggressions on Lebanese sovereignty and the targeting of civilians in the south as part of the “Chewed Up Straw” battle.
