Sana’a Foreign Ministry: The Decision to End the Aggression and Break the Siege Has Been Made, and Riyadh Should Look at Vision 2030 Perhaps to Return to Its Senses

The Sana’a Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement refuting the propaganda and claims of the recent Saudi statement regarding Yemen, and its “attempts to mislead public opinion by distorting facts and falsifying realities regarding the peace path and bilateral agreements,” warning the Saudi regime of the consequences of continued procrastination and escalation of the siege.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

In response to Riyadh’s claims, Sana’a affirmed that “the Saudi enemy’s claim that we rejected the roadmap that was established between us under the auspices of our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman is completely false,” explaining: “We have affirmed our approval of the roadmap repeatedly on several occasions.”

The ministry added that “as long as the Saudi regime claims that the roadmap is ready, it is required to quickly sign it and implement it immediately without delay or procrastination,” noting that “the Saudi regime’s claim that it supports the roadmap has collapsed with its displeasure at the return of Yemeni citizens stranded abroad to Sana’a International Airport.”

The statement reiterated that “the Saudi regime is not a neutral party, so it can determine who is committed and who is evading; it is the head of the aggression, the one who declared and adopted the war,” pointing out that “the Saudi regime sponsors all hostile activities, occupies vast parts of Yemen, distributes roles among its mercenaries, and has launched more than a quarter of a million airstrikes on Yemen.”

The ministry continued: “The Saudi aggression spared nothing related to the manifestations of life, not even cemeteries, and caused the martyrdom of hundreds of thousands of Yemenis.” It considered that “the Saudi regime’s claim of defending Yemen’s sovereignty is pure arrogance, and it should know that it is not a guardian over other countries, nor is it concerned with defending them, as it is the one that aggresses against them,” adding: “It is strange that the Saudi regime allows itself to view the return of Yemeni citizens stranded abroad and the travel of patients as a violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, or a threat to the Kingdom’s security.”

Sana’a’s Foreign Ministry pointed out that “the Saudi regime’s gamble on the American-Israeli aggression on Yemen to evade peace entitlements and re-impose its guardianship over Yemen has not materialized, thanks to God,” affirming that “the Saudi regime’s criticism of Yemen’s support operations for Gaza proves once again that this regime is a Zionist tool and moves under American sponsorship to serve the Israeli enemy entity.”

Sana’a held the Saudi regime directly responsible for the humanitarian suffering, asserting that “the Al Saud regime is behind the continued siege on Yemen at airports and ports, obstructing the payment of salaries, and the economic and humanitarian suffering according to the roadmap.”

In the context of the field warning, Sana’a’s Foreign Ministry delivered a sharp-tongued advice to Riyadh, saying: “The head of the Saudi regime should look at the oil fields, Aramco, Yanbu, the rest of the ports, its stock exchange, and the Vision 2030 projects, perhaps to return to its senses,” noting that “we are still in the early stages of breaking the siege, and the Saudi regime must comprehend the seriousness of the armed forces’ statement to restore our rights.”

It added: “The threats of the Saudi enemy are returned upon it, as it initiated the aggression on Yemen and practiced assault when it tried to prevent civilian aviation from landing at Sana’a International Airport,” revealing that “the Saudi regime was on the verge of committing a major massacre, were it not for the swift and decisive response of the Yemeni armed forces.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded its statement by saying that “the Yemeni people, through all its institutions, has made its decision to end the aggression and break the siege and will not retreat from that, whatever the cost,” calling on “the Saudi regime to take heed from the lessons of over a decade of experience that have only resulted in its failure and the collapse of its bets.”

The ministry warned that “any step taken by the criminal Saudi regime will cast its negative shadow on the already unstable region, and will result in catastrophic effects on the global economy,” reiterating that “the Saudi regime must realize that the security of Yemen and the region cannot be achieved through force, which the mightiest nations in the world have failed to impose, whether in Yemen, Iran, Lebanon, or Palestine,” and warning it by saying: “Any hostile attempts on Yemen in any form, whether from you, your tools, or your Zionist partners, you bear full responsibility and consequences… and we advise the Saudi regime to take the correct and safest path for everyone, or bear the results of its adventures and arrogance.”
