Satellite images revealed on Tuesday a halt in navigational traffic in southern Saudi airspace for the second consecutive day. This follows the start of Yemen’s response to the recent Saudi aggression on Sana’a.

The images, captured moments ago from the “Flight Radar” site, show a near-complete absence of navigational traffic in the entire southern region, extending to major cities such as the capital Riyadh.
Aircraft are currently using maritime routes through the Gulf to reach airports in the Saudi depth.
No movement has been recorded except for limited internal Saudi flights.
These developments come after Yemen launched an attack on Saudi airports in the southern region.
The attack, according to coalition admissions, targeted Abha Airport and military bases.
It remains unclear whether the halt in navigational traffic in the airspace of the region that Yemen has designated as a target zone in its first phase is due to fears or as a result of damage to the infrastructure of those airports.
It is noteworthy that the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, had warned international airlines of the repercussions of the new escalation.
