YPC: Saudi Coalition Seizes New Gasoline Ship

Sana’a-based Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) announced on Tuesday that a new oil ship was seized by the Saudi-led coalition, as a new violation of the UN-brokered truce.

The company’s spokesman Issam Al-Mutawakel said in a statement to Saba that in conjunction with the release of the diesel ship “Princess Khadijah”, the gasoline ship “Ann Fectos” was seized in a new and clear violation.

He pointed out that the Saudi coalition forcibly took Ann Fectos off the coast of Jizan, despite its inspection and obtaining UN entry permits, stressing that the United Nations did not put an end to piracy, whether before or during the announced truce.
