The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that malnutrition in the Strip is causing an increase in the number of deaths, with little aid arriving.
The ministry added that it had recorded 58 deaths due to malnutrition and an additional 242 deaths due to food and medicine shortages since the beginning of March, when Israel imposed a blockade on the entry of aid into Gaza.
The ministry reported that more than 300 miscarriages were attributed to malnutrition.
