The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Thursday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 65,502 martyrs and 167,367 wounded, since October 7, 2023.
The ministry stated in its daily report that 83 martyrs and 216 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the number of aid victims arriving at hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 7, along with 50 wounded, bringing the total number of livelihood victims arriving at hospitals to 2,538, and more than 18,581 wounded.
The ministry indicated that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time.
Separately, the Ministry of Health stated that the medicine shortage crisis in Gaza Strip hospitals has reached catastrophic levels and is hindering the provision of emergency care. It warned of the repercussions of this catastrophe on saving the lives of the wounded and sick, who are crowded into medical centers and hospitals.
