Lebanese Health Ministry: 2,089 people killed in Israeli airstrikes since March 2

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Monday that the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon since the start of the war on March 2nd has reached 2,089.

The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the number of wounded has also risen to 6,762. The number of children killed has reached 166, while the number of wounded children has risen to 648.

Five people were killed last night in Israeli attacks targeting towns in southern Lebanon, part of the ongoing aggression against Lebanon since March 2nd, launched in response to attacks by Hezbollah. The conflict has resulted in the deaths and injuries of thousands, including Syrians.
