Lebanon’s Hezbollah announced on Thursday the execution of a series of military operations targeting sites, gatherings, and vehicles belonging to the Israeli occupation army in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa, coinciding with the downing of an Israeli drone and confronting another, while the occupation army admitted to 11 officers and soldiers being injured in the past 48 hours.
The operations included targeting a gathering of occupation soldiers and vehicles in the Rajman area near the town of Tayr Harfa with two consecutive rocket barrages, in addition to carrying out attacks with suicide drones targeting a Hummer vehicle and Merkava tanks in Deir Siryan and Bint Jbeil.
The attacks also targeted a newly established artillery emplacement in Odaisseh and a nearby ammunition vehicle, in addition to targeting Israeli soldiers while attempting to withdraw from the area, as well as striking the newly established “Nimr Al-Jamal” site in southern Lebanon.
As part of the air confrontation, the party announced the downing of an Israeli “Heron 1” drone in the skies of the Nahlah area in the Bekaa and also confirmed confronting another “Hermes 450 – Zik” drone with a surface-to-air missile in the skies of Iqlim Al-Tuffah, which led to its withdrawal from Lebanese airspace.
In contrast, the occupation army revealed the deaths of 30 officers and soldiers and the injury of 1,302 others since the resumption of fighting on the Lebanese front at the beginning of last March, in addition to 11 military personnel injured in the past two days.
