Israeli army is escalating its operations in the West Bank

This morning, Saturday, various areas of the West Bank witnessed an escalation in Israeli military activity, including the closure of village entrances and the implementation of arrest and raid campaigns. These actions are part of broader Israeli military operations affecting several areas, amidst ongoing restrictions on the movement of Palestinian citizens.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces closed the western entrance to the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, in both directions, preventing residents from passing through. This entrance has become the only access point to the village after the eastern entrance remained closed for approximately four years.

In a related incident, Israeli forces raided the village of Deir Abu Mash’al, northwest of Ramallah, storming and searching several homes and damaging their contents before arresting four Palestinians: Fouad Abu Samra, Samhan Mustafa, Abdullah Al-Tahiyeh, and Hassan Gharib.

Additionally, Israeli forces conducted a raid in the city of Nablus, targeting the Jabal Fatayer area. They stormed several homes and arrested a young man named Diaa Muhammad Fatayer.
