Iran’s Khatam Al-Anbiya headquarters: The Strait of Hormuz is under our control, and America’s claims of passage are pure fabrication

The spokesman for Iran’s “Khatam Al-Anbiya” military headquarters denied American claims of normal ship passage through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, describing them as “mere lies and fabrication.”

Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Khatam Al-Anbiya spokesman affirmed that the Strait of Hormuz remains fully under Iran’s management and control, indicating that “no commercial ship or oil tanker has been or will be able to safely cross the strait without permission from the Iranian armed forces.”

The Iranian Khatam Al-Anbiya spokesman accused Washington of seeking to cause “evil, disorder, and insecurity” in the region, affirming that the Iranian armed forces have proven their ability to face challenges and threats.

The statements come in response to Trump’s claims that the situation in the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait is under American control, despite Iran’s ability to disrupt navigation somewhat from a distance, coinciding with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s announcement that an agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz may be announced in the coming hours.

The Iranian leadership’s statements reflect Tehran’s adherence to its conditions regarding the management of navigation in the strait and its reopening, amid a divergence in the context of American and Iranian statements regarding the future of ship movement and security arrangements in one of the world’s most important energy passages.
