Ansar Allah Political Official Condemns the Al-Hazm Prison Massacre in Al-Jawf, Northwest of Sana’a, and Affirms: The Crime Will Not Go Unanswered and Without Proportionate Punishment

The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah condemned the “horrific massacre” committed by Saudi aviation with its direct targeting of the inmates of the Al-Hazm Correctional Facility in Al-Jawf governorate, northwest of Sana’a, and their visitors, which resulted in “the martyrdom and injury of dozens.”

The statement considered this targeting as being added to the “black record of war crimes that the Saudi regime is stained with,” affirming that “bombing civilian facilities and prisons reflects the state of confusion and moral bankruptcy of the aggression,” and its flagrant disregard for international humanitarian law and all customs and charters.

The Political Bureau stressed that this “heinous crime will not go unanswered and without proportionate punishment that reaches the aggressors,” calling on humanitarian organizations, media outlets, and free people of the world to document these violations, and “expose the Saudi regime’s ongoing massacres against the Yemeni people for nearly twelve years, and work to prosecute and hold their perpetrators accountable.”
