The UAE confirms the “Houthis'” control of the last ruling sites west of Taiz

The UAE confirmed on Monday the continuation of Saudi losses in western Yemen.

Sky News Arabia channel quoted its correspondent in Aden as confirming that the Saudi factions have lost the Kahbub mountain range located between Lahj and Taiz governorates, which commands the western coast of Yemen and the Gulf of Aden.

The channel’s correspondent explained that those he described as the “Houthis” continued their advance in the southwestern Taiz countryside, with their control of Jabal Jardad overlooking the Taiz-Aden road in the Al-Shamaytain area, the center of Al-Turbah.

The continuous advance of Sana’a forces comes despite the intensive airstrikes by Saudi Arabia and its allies in an attempt to stop the accelerating advance.
