Large Losses for the Southern Giants Forces in the Confrontations of the Bab Al-Mandeb Front

Field sources revealed large human and material losses among the ranks of the southern Giants forces, during the past two days, as a result of attempts to advance toward the positions of the Sana’a forces on the Bab Al-Mandeb front.

Exclusive Follow-ups — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The sources affirm that the losses of the First Giants Division exceeded 110 dead and 65 wounded, along with the destruction of dozens of vehicles, during the confrontations on the front.

They indicate that the commander of the Giants forces, Abu Zaraa Al-Mahrami, made a decision to withdraw the remainder of the First Division’s armored vehicles and hand them over to the Second Division, against the backdrop of the losses incurred by the forces during the attempts to advance.

Field sources had earlier spoken about the Sana’a forces carrying out a wide flanking operation on the positions of the Saudi-backed forces in Al-Mudaribah area, amid reports of their advance in a number of areas and the exercise of field pressure on the opposing forces from several directions.

In a related context, reports spoke about disputes between leaders from the sons of Al-Sabayha in the Giants forces and leaders from other areas, against the backdrop of what it described as the failure to provide the necessary military reinforcements for the forces deployed in Al-Sabayha during the recent confrontations, which it said contributed to the collapse of a number of positions.
