Exclusive Follow-ups — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Field sources reported that the confrontations began with the carrying out by the Saudi-backed forces of a wide advance toward the positions of the Sana’a forces, while the latter managed to repel it and launch a counter-attack, ending the wave of clashes without any important change in the control of the field for either party.

In this context, the spokesman for the Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that their forces targeted with ballistic missiles and drone aviation “the mobilizations of the Saudi-backed forces east of the districts of Raghwan and Madghal in Marib Governorate, under the command of the Saudi officer Fares Al-Shammari.”

Affirming that “the strikes left a large number of dead and wounded among the ranks of those forces.”

He noted that the operation, along with the targeting of “military mobilizations east of Al-Jawf Governorate, was carried out in three phases,” noting that it caused the killing and wounding of dozens of the targeted elements, under the command of the same Saudi officer.

In a related context, field sources affirmed that one of the camps inside Marib city was subjected to a ballistic missile strike.

It revealed that during the confrontations, Saudi warplanes targeted a gathering of the forces of the Sixth Military Region of the Riyadh-backed forces, in the Al-A’ayraf area in Raghwan.

Noting that this “resulted in the fall of dead and wounded among the soldiers and officers, amid the interruption of communications between the region’s command and the command of the front and the sector.”

On the level of losses, the Saudi-backed forces in Marib city buried the bodies of Brigadier General Mohammed Hassan Hatem, the commander of the Raghwan front, and Lieutenant Colonel Abdulraqib Al-Dumari Al-Marur, the commander of the Second Battalion in the 203rd Infantry Brigade, who were killed during yesterday’s confrontations on the front.
