Arrival of 18 Ships, including Container Ship, to Hodeida Port

Several ships carrying food, construction and oil derivatives, in addition to a container ship, containing 724 containers of goods, headed to Hodeida port, without any detention by the coalition. In an indication to Sana’a’s ability to break the siege imposed on the port for years.

The Minister of Transport in Sana’a Abdul-Wahhab Yahya Al-Durra, confirmed that the incoming ships began heading directly from the port of Djibouti to the port of Hodeida, after inspection directly, without any delay, explaining in a press conference  among the ships, 18 ships are heading from the shipping ports to the port of Hodeida, Saleef and Ras Issa.

He pointed out that the berths are full of ships whose cargo is unloaded, and many of them are waiting in the submersible to enter the unloading space, praising the role of the work crews in the port of Hodeida, which are making effective efforts to enable ships to dock and unload in a short time.

He also stressed that the entry of ships continues daily, including ships that arrive for the first time loaded with oils and others, to ensure that the needs of 70 percent of the people of Yemen are covered through the port of Hodeida, given that they obtain needs from the nearest ports and airports as one of their rights.
