Financial Times: Gaza aid nears low

The scarcity of food has reached such an extent that some Gazans warn their children not to play or run so that they do not get dizzy while they receive only one meal a day, as Washington’s warnings to Israel have not helped solve this dilemma, and aid to Gaza is approaching its lowest level ever, according to a report in the British newspaper Financial Times.

Israel’s lack of aid and looting – not to mention the IDF’s liquidation of Palestinians guarding aid convoys – have made the humanitarian conditions of Gazans worsen.

Aid workers say this problem will not be solved unless all crossings into Gaza are opened, noting that by December 12, only about 1,700 trucks had entered Gaza, which is still well below pre-war levels, and the scarcity of flour has exacerbated hunger, with prices rising to $162 per bag.
