Thirteen people killed in an Israeli airstrike south of Lebanon

Thirteen people were killed Tuesday evening in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp near Sidon in southern Lebanon.

Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that “an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle near the Khalid bin Walid Mosque in the ‘Lower Street’ within the Ain al-Hilweh camp.”

The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center stated that an Israeli airstrike on the Ain al-Hilweh camp in Sidon resulted in the deaths of 13 people and injured dozens.

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the Israeli army’s perpetration of a horrific massacre in the Ain al-Hilweh camp in Sidon, southern Lebanon, asserting that there are no military installations in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
