As the Gaza Strip endures the largest human drain in its history, a complex network is being uncovered daily, working to force Palestinians out of their homeland under the guise of “voluntary displacement.”
What appeared to be humanitarian initiatives to transport the sick and wounded has, according to experts, transformed into a coordinated political project managed by Israeli entities through front companies and associations, using methods that violate international law and norms.
In this context, specialists in Israeli and security affairs, interviewed by Quds Press, presented a clearer picture of an organized operation aimed at emptying the Gaza Strip, employing soft power tactics at times and pressure tactics at others, amid questions about the role of the Palestinian Authority and international mediators in confronting this scheme.
Ali Al-Awar, a professor of regional and international conflict resolution and an expert on Israeli affairs, stated that there is serious evidence confirming the existence of an organized plan to displace Gaza’s residents under the name of “voluntary displacement,” managed by networks and companies operating under the direct supervision of the Israeli coordinator.
Al-Awar explained that investigations indicate the involvement of an Estonian company headed by an individual working for the Israeli Ministry of Defense, according to Hebrew media and international press reports.
He also pointed to the involvement of a Palestinian journalist from Deir al-Balah (in the central Gaza Strip), named Mu’taz al-Aziza, in managing an organization that served as a front to facilitate the departure of Palestinians through Ramon Airport without official documents or passports.
He added that the last flight uncovered was bound for Nairobi (Kenya) and then South Africa, before the entire network was exposed. This, he said, confirms that “voluntary” and “forced” displacement are two sides of the same coin, aimed at emptying Gaza of its inhabitants.
