The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours resulted in the deaths of two Palestinians and injuries to five others, who were admitted to hospitals in the Gaza Strip for treatment.
The Ministry confirmed that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 1,005, in addition to 3,157 wounded, and the recovery of the bodies of 784 martyrs. The total number of Palestinians killed in the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,016, with 173,265 wounded.
The Ministry stressed that these figures reflect the continued Israeli violations against civilians, in the absence of any commitment to the ceasefire. It warned that the continued attacks exacerbate the humanitarian crisis and threaten the lives of thousands of Palestinian families.
In Gaza, Israeli violations continue through artillery shelling and airstrikes, as well as the targeting of civilians in border areas, further intensifying the suffering of the population and hindering relief efforts.
In the West Bank, recent weeks have witnessed an escalation in settler attacks, including the burning of mosques and assaults on Palestinian villages, amid warnings from human rights organizations about the widening circle of systematic violence against holy sites and property.
International organizations, including the United Nations, have warned that the continuation of these violations threatens the prospects for stability and undermines any political path toward de-escalation.
