Washington replaces the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier with a base in Saudi Arabia

The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier has departed the Red Sea region after six months of its deployment to protect the Israeli enemy entity from Yemeni operations.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The US Navy stated that the USS Eisenhower carrier, along with the accompanying ship, USS Graveley, has withdrawn and is now sailing in the eastern Mediterranean.

While the USS Eisenhower is set to be replaced by the USS Harry Truman aircraft carrier, the US Central Command reported the arrival of a squadron of F-16 aircraft to an area within its responsibility.

According to American media sources, the aircraft have arrived at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz base, located 80 kilometers south of Riyadh, near the Yemeni border, while Saudi Arabia welcomed the visit of the Commander of the US Central Air Forces, General Derek France, with the aim of coordinating what is called defensive and military efforts.

Observers believe that the US is changing its tactics, and its movements in the region indicate that it is heading towards military escalation in its aggression against Yemen.
