UNRWA: Health response in Gaza faces significant operational challenges

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported on Saturday that the health response in the Gaza Strip is facing significant operational challenges.

UNRWA said in a post on its Facebook page today: “The health response in the Gaza Strip continues to face significant operational challenges, including significant damage to health facilities.”

It noted “obstacles to safe movement and restrictions on the entry of critical medical supplies and fuel.”

It added: “Mass demolitions continue amid the Israeli operation that began on 21 January and has entered its sixth month in the northern West Bank.”
