The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 4,346 martyrs and 12,301 wounded since March 2, after 11 people were killed and 19 others injured on Saturday in two Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center said in a statement that “the total cumulative toll of the aggression from March 2 to August 16 has reached 4,346 martyrs and 12,301 wounded.”
On Saturday, the ministry announced the deaths of 11 people and injuries to 19 others in two Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in southern Lebanon.
The ministry said that an Israeli airstrike on the town of Deir Zahrani in the Nabatieh district resulted in the deaths of four people and injuries to 17 others, including a child and 11 women.
Seven people, including three children and two women, were also killed, and two others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Ansar in the Nabatieh district, according to the same source. The latest figures released by the Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center on August 9th reported 4,335 deaths and 12,277 injuries since March 2nd.
