WHO: 421 people have died in Gaza due to malnutrition

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced on Wednesday that 421 people, including 113 children, died from malnutrition in 2025.

In a statement, the organization affirmed its commitment to supporting ongoing efforts to save lives and expand its work in screening for malnutrition among children aged 5 to 10.

These efforts aim to treat 2,500 children in this age group through treatment programs and stabilization centers supported by the WHO.

With American and European support, the Israeli army has committed genocide, siege, and starvation in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 68,643 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and injuries to 170,655 others to date, according to preliminary figures.
