Civil Service Ministry in Sana’a government, on Monday, issued a circular to pay the first half of salary for July 2018 to all employees of the state, including civilian and military and retirees.

The move comes in implementation of the directives of President of the Supreme Political Council in order to alleviate the burdens on the employees, according to a circular issued by the Ministry.

The Ministry directed the state administrative units to pay only to the employees present at work and eliminate names of those who are out of work and dual and fictitious employees.

The Saudi-sponsored forces committed 125 violations of the ceasefire agreement in Hodeida province over the past 24 hours, the operations room to monitor the violations said on Monday.

An official in the operation room said that among the forces’ violations 12 spy planes, attack and an intense flight in al-Jabaliya area.

The official pointed out that the violations also included the creation of combat fortifications in al-Jabaliya, in addition to missile and artillery shells with various gunshots.

Yesterday, Sana’a Supreme Political Council warned the coalition against military and economic escalation, stressing that its forces are ready to respond at the appropriate time.

A new battle raged on Monday, between Sana’a and the coalition, with the expansion of oil crisis. Meanwhile, the coalition forces have tightened their siege on the port of Hodeida during the past hours, while detaining more fuel ships.

The oil company in Sana’a confirmed that the coalition had detained five fuel ships in the port of Jazan while it was on its way to Hodeida.

The escalation in the detention of fuel ships coincides with Sanaa’s continued prevention of oil smuggling from its export ports in eastern Yemen.

According to media reports, Sana’a prevented a new cargo ship that was on its way to the port of Mukalla from exporting a new shipment. Referring to the ship’s departure from the territorial waters east of Yemen, it had received warning calls from Sana’a.

In the context, sources in Aden government revealed an American attempt to barter oil exports for fuel ships in Hodeida. Stressing Sana’a’s rejection to this equation and its adherence to the necessity of agreeing on fuel revenues for the benefit of employees’ salaries and not linking humanitarian benefits to political and military files.

The United States had warned, through more than one official, to prevent the entry of oil derivatives in response to Sana’a’s decision to stop the looting of Yemen’s oil wealth.

Recent developments will accelerate the return of confrontations to the forefront of the scene, with Sana’a hinting at the resumption of cross-border attacks.

Sana’a forces received on Sunday, a green light to carry out military operations in the Saudi and Emirati depths, in conjunction with the return of escalation to the forefront of the scene in Yemen.

The House of Representatives and Shura Council, the highest legislative authority in the country, confirmed their support for the resumption of cross-border attacks.

Al-Masirah channel, which speaks on behalf of Anssarallah government” quoted on a number of Shura leaders as saying that targeting the Saudi and Emirati depths is the guarantee to turn the coalition to the right path.

Yahya al-Mahdi, head of Shura Council’s Defense and Security Committee, considered the strike force and bombing strategic targets is the only way to end the “aggression.”

Legislation of military operations is part of the arrangements recently initiated by Sana’a and it predicts the resumption of military operations with the failure of efforts to extend the armistice and the end of an unannounced agreement related to Qatar World Cup.

Pro-Houthis Supreme Political Council (SPC), the highest ruling authority in Sana’a, warned of the dangers of the continuation of the state of no peace and no war, which the Saudi-led coalition aims to keep the Republic of Yemen in.

The Council, in its meeting chaired by Mahdi Al-Mashat on Monday, confirmed that Yemen will take the necessary measures when the time is right for that, in order to prevent the coalition’s plan to trap Yemen in this trap.

In the meeting, it was focused on the existing contacts between Yemen and the coalition regarding the talks related to stopping the war and lifting the blockade.

The Council’s members reaffirmed Yemen’s firm stance towards an honorable peace that protects the sovereignty and independence of Yemen and preserves its unity, welcoming all serious steps in this context.

They pointed out that keenness to achieve peace in Yemen should be embodied by responding to the rights of citizens, foremost of which is the payment of salaries to all state employees, and the opening of all Yemeni airports and ports.

The Council stressed the separation of the humanitarian file from the political and military, and that progress in this file is an indicator of credibility in the success of any mediations, contacts or talks.
